Modern Warfare 2

The only game really on my “I’m playing” list right now is the newest Call of Duty, Modern Warfare 2. The first Call of Duty that I owned was Call of Duty: World at War, and I bought that like 7-8 months after it was released. The primary reason for me buying that was definitely the Nazi Zombies mode of the game. But this time around it was very different…
I stood in a line at Wal-Mart to get this at its midnight release. I then spent several hours playing it that very night before heading to bed. I have played some of the campaign but have definitely focused my attention on playing multiplayer. I don’t know if it hasn’t crossed your radar or not yet, but there is one very controversial mission in the game. In fact, the game asks you (perhaps 2 times?) if you’d like to skip it or not. It does not affect your ability to complete the game. While I played it and I take my games to be games, I won’t directly put it here on the site, I’ll instead send you off to YouTube on your own accord. A search over there for Modern Warfare 2 Terrorist Mission should put you in the right place. If you’re easily offended, I highly suggest you DO NOT go watch.
As I said earlier, I primarily play the multiplayer which I have been loving! Not since Halo 2 have I played and enjoyed multiplayer fps gameplay so much. My favorite game mode is free-for-all. I just particularly enjoy that every man for himself feel I suppose. I have tried a few other play modes but always find myself going back to ffa when it comes time to just sit down and enjoy playing for a little while.
So, just wanted to share what I’ve been spending my free time doing over the past week. I will be turning my efforts to Project Dooley very soon and hopefully be finishing that up before the end of the year.
